IndicConverter कैसे research और test किया जाता है

1. Exact profile पहचानना

पहले तय किया जाता है कि converter किस named encoding, font version या documented profile के लिए है। Similar family names को automatically byte-compatible नहीं माना जाता।

2. Mapping और licence जाँचना

Implementation data documented source या suitable licence वाले reusable source से आना चाहिए। Exact profile साफ़ न हो तो उसे supported नहीं बताया जाता।

3. Real conversion behavior reproduce करना

Indic scripts में matra, reph, conjunct, half form, nukta और historical aliases के लिए ordered transformation rules लग सकते हैं। Generic transliteration shortcut पर्याप्त नहीं है।

4. Independent reference से cross-check

जहाँ independent implementation, published example या compiled converter उपलब्ध हो, उसका differential reference के रूप में उपयोग किया जाता है। कुछ profiles में सभी one-byte या two-byte inputs exhaustively compare किए जा सकते हैं।

5. दोनों directions अलग test करना

Forward conversion सही होने से reverse conversion automatically सही नहीं माना जाता। Unicode → legacy path अलग validate होता है और exact legacy representation unsafe होने पर conservative fallback इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है।

6. Difficult text stress-test करना

Structured script forms, real words, mixed Indic/English text, punctuation, URLs, emails, malformed input, deterministic fuzz cases और long text blocks test किए जाते हैं। Reproducible bug regression test बन सकता है।

7. Actual website test करना

Engine tests के अलावा live desktop/mobile browser में sample, copy, paste, download, swap, routes, canonical tags, sitemap और localized pages test होते हैं।

8. Marketing percentage की जगह measured evidence

हर profile के references और ambiguity अलग हैं। इसलिए एक universal accuracy percentage claim करने की जगह Accuracy page पर profile-specific counts और limitations publish किए जाते हैं।

Reproducible mismatch मिले तो Report an Issue में छोटा सुरक्षित sample भेजें।
