Accuracy and compatibility
Bamini and SunTommy are tested as separate profiles even though much of their ASCII layout overlaps. The SunTommy source table has three profile-specific canonical differences and one historically overloaded legacy token; the reverse converter avoids unsafe output instead of pretending those ambiguities do not exist. Because legacy Tamil encodings reuse Latin positions, arbitrary English inside raw legacy text can still be ambiguous without the original font formatting.
